Care Instructions

Pre Care:

For Facials, Microchanneling, and Chemical peels: 5-7 days prior to your appointment, please discontinue the use of retinol, salicylic/ glycolic acid, and any products that may make your skin more sensitive. Please let us know if you are currently taking Accutane or have been on it in the past.

For Microchanneling and Chemical Peels, no sun exposure or tanning beds leading up to treatment. You should not consume any alcohol within 24 hours before and refrain from having any caffeinated foods or drinks the day of your procedure. These substances can promote bruising and inflammation, which can hinder the healing process. If you are going to take a painkiller, you can take Tylenol (Acetaminophen) but avoid Advil and Motrin (Ibuprofen.)

For Microchanneling, it is best to reschedule in the week before if you have an active acne breakout. We use a lidocaine topical numbing cream, if you are unsure if you are allergic to this a patch test can be scheduled. 

Post care: 

For Facials, please refrain from using any active ingredients 3-5 days after appointment. No direct sun exposure a few days after to prevent any irritation or sensitivity to the skin. 

Microchanneling and Chemical peels. For the first 48 hours after your treatment please avoid alcohol, makeup, sweating, and sunscreen. For a week after, please avoid the sun and any active skincare products.  the rest.
